Held over Time
Tree rings do not hurry their growth. They respond to what each year demands—expanding and contracting, moving through ease and endurance without hierarchy or urgency.
This work mirrors that process. Drawn slowly, line by line, it holds time not as a linear journey forward, but as a sequence of quiet adaptations. Each mark becomes a record of presence, accumulating patiently until meaning is revealed—often only in hindsight.
Held Over Time invites the viewer to pause and observe how rhythm forms through repetition, and how resilience takes shape through attentive continuity. The work reflects the understanding that growth is not always visible in the moment, but is always taking place.
